Castle of Light 2023 Magic & Light: Hospital Square

One of two contributions to Castle of Light: Magic & Light. This was a magical Christmas story, a tale of a woman reaching for the stars, before transforming into a shooting star and falling back to earth. Working with the hugely talented contemporary dancer Joanne Pierre, this story was brought to life through dance, film and animation. Projection mapped onto the ancient walls of the castle hospital within the grounds of Edinburgh Castle, this immersive experience unfolded amidst the backdrop of the castle's mystical past.

Visitors were spellbound as mesmerising animations danced across the castle grounds, enveloping them in a spectacle of wonder and enchantment. With stunning visuals, state-of-the-art projections, and captivating storytelling, they embarked on a journey of magical discovery, painted in light onto the ancient castle walls.
