Art in Motion
A live and interactive environment.
We collaborated with award-winning choreographer Janis Claxton to explore movement and to create live artistic expressions of those movements, we projected these back into the environment around the dancers in real-time. This was a creative and exploratory collaboration, where we played between dance and its translation via motion-reactive technologies and custom-built software to create live artistic visualisations.
The interactive environment echoes the dancer’s movements in real-time. Janis used her dancers as the brush, their movements painting colour and light into the space around them.
