Winner of the Creativepool Annual 2023 Wave Innovation - Peoples Choice Award.

Edinburgh Science Festival entrusted us with a thrilling task: to craft an immersive interactive storytelling experience inspired by the elements for the 2021 edition of the festival. Drawing inspiration from the Ancient Greeks, who envisioned the world through the lens of Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and even Aether, we embarked on a journey to explore the essence of existence itself.

While modern science has evolved with the advent of atomic theory, unveiling a rich tapestry of over a hundred chemical elements, traces of the ancient worldview linger. Mysteries still abound, reminding us of the enigmatic nature of our universe.

Alchemy converges with science

Our creation provided participants with a unique opportunity to engage with the elements on a mesmerising multi-sensory voyage through a digital realm where magic intertwines with alchemy, and alchemy converges with science. It was a journey of discovery, where science fiction and ancient wisdom converged, inviting all to explore the enchanting boundaries between the known and the unknown.
