111 Piccadilly, architectural art installation

We spearheaded the animation development for this extraordinary project, meticulously crafting content to the complex LED video map that adorns 111 Piccadilly's façade. This required a deep understanding of how animation behaves across a real architectural structure in three-dimensional space — translating Artin Light's visionary designs into content that works with the building's geometry, not just on a flat screen. Collaborating with architectural lighting specialist Studiotech, together we brought Artin Light's ambitious vision to life.

Artin Light envisioned a mesmerising fusion of fiction and reality, where light and motion would breathe life into an architectural goliath. On an epic scale, this collaboration transcended the boundaries of traditional animation — every sequence had to be purpose-built for a fragmented, three-dimensional LED canvas wrapping a real structure. Together, we transformed the architecture into a living canvas, an awe-inspiring testament to the transformative power of light, motion, and the technical craft behind large-scale architectural animation.

A beautiful night time scene in Manchester.

Transforming architecture with mesmerising LED animation

Working at this scale demanded more than great animation - it required an intimate understanding of how the LED array mapped across the building's surface, and how motion and colour would read from street level. Getting that right, in close collaboration with Artin Light and Studiotech, is what made this project so rewarding.

A city building transformed into an art installation with dynamic LED lighting and animation, creating a vibrant nighttime display.
